Dr. Beth Baptist, Interim Director of Student Services and Achievement, will present the 2022-2023 Policy Update for Board consideration.
The annual policy update meeting for VSBA was held on May 25, 2022. The recommended changes to policies were presented at that meeting.
Attached are six files with proposed changes:
1. Revisions Based on VSBA Updates
2. Table to Explain Proposed Revisions
3. Policies Requiring a 5-Year Review
4. Policies Recommended for Revision by CCS Staff
5. Table to Explain these Proposed Revisions by Staff
It is requested that the Board review the policies and determine if the proposed changes are acceptable to the Board.
Especially for new Board members: Please disregard spacing and formatting. All of this will be corrected after policies are approved. Many of the VSBA policies are minor editorial changes and have been noted. School Boards are required to review policies at least every five years. There are a few that have not been reviewed in that time period. |
