Governor Glenn Youngkin has signed a Certificate of Recognition declaring January 12-18, 2025, as Virginia Principals Appreciation Week.
Dr. Katina Otey and the School Board hope that the community will join them in acknowledging the tireless efforts of our school principals across the Division.
The role of the principal as instructional leader is critically important to ensure our students are provided an opportunity to learn. Our principals work diligently to help students and teachers excel, and their leadership and hard work are essential to the success of our schools. They deserve all the recognition and praise we can give them.
