Background and Summary:

Maria Lewis, Director of Human Resources, prepared the 2024 Pupil Teacher Ratio written report for Board information.
Standard of Quality reporting requires School Boards to report the actual pupil/teacher ratios in elementary classrooms by school. The pupil/teacher ratio includes full-time classroom teachers. Additionally, enrollment projection data will be provided, noting increases in enrollment across the division, predominately in elementary schools.

Goal 1: CCS will recruit and retain licensed and properly endorsed staff
All schools will be fully staffed by September 1 each year
Annual increase the retention rate of teachers by 2% or more (with a goal of a 90% or higher retention rate).
