Carolyn Swift, Assessment & Accountability, will present information on the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) implementation of a new accountability system called the School Performance and Support Framework. This framework aims to provide a more comprehensive and transparent picture of school performance.

Priority 1: Increase Academic Achievement
Target 9: Increase reading achievement for all students to at least 75% proficiency across all student groups.
Target 10: Increase math achievement for all students to at least 70% proficiency across all student groups.
Target 11: Annually reduce the failure of math and reading SOLs by 10% or more for Black/African-American students and students with Disabilities.
