Background and Summary: On October 10, 2024, Renee Hoover, Director of Finance, presented information on 2024 Fiscal Year End (FYE) including designating a portion of FYE funds to capital projects. A preliminary, unaudited FYE 2024 increase of $2,654,639 is projected. Fund balance is a one-time funding source. Staff requested $1.2 million of the FYE funds be designated for capital improvement projects including CHS Athletic Track & Field Lighting ($350k), CHS Girls Softball Field Scoreboard ($10k), CMS Student Restroom Safety ($290k), and Other Safety/Security Infrastructure ($500k).
